i put about sixty or so pounds of base rock when i got my new tank. i also put about the same amount of rock in that was from my 46 bow front.. my question is .. i have green algae growin on mostly just the base rock. i'll put a see hare in and he'll eat most of it then it all just comes back. is this something that is a problem with base rock? algae prone? the green is makin me crazy...

Is the base rock just "dead" live rock or is it lace lava? ------------- 300 gallon in wall |

it has coraline on it.... but its like a green mat.. dont know if its hair algae or bryopsis of what ------------- "TANKLESS" |
