ok so i ordered a 250w 20k bulb and just got the bulb but it did not turn on? what the diffenernt bulb types?
old bulb 
new bulb

I have use bulbs with both looks to them with my electronic ballast and had no problems. -------------  |

| What kind of ballast do you have? (Make/model - or if you know, if it is a pulse start or probe start) Do you know the mfr of either of the bulbs? |

How long did you let it try to fire the bulb? sometimes when I put a new bulb in mine (really old magnetic dual bulb ballast) it takes quite a few tries to light it and keep it lit.

i'm not sure what kind it says on the bulb e39 base t shape 250w 20000k. i tried 4 time and let it sit turned on for servral min.. my old bulb has what looks like a diode in it and the new one does not. i got it used so i don't know the model but is a pfo lighting single bulb ballast. ------------- In Clearfield Quantum mechanics the dreams stuff is made of. |
