Hello my wife and I had a hitchhiker crab come on our live rock when we started our tank awhile ago.  Anyway I've searched all over the place and can't seem to find out what kind of crab it is.  He's purple colored and he has 2 large spotted claws.  He also has 2 fan like thing's he catched food with.  I know he's not a Pom Pom crab because he looks nothing like that.  My wife thinks he's a purple shore crab but all the pictures I've seen of those don't have the fans.  I can't get a picture of him because our camera won't focus on it right.  Thanks -Zipp

do a search for porcelain crab and see what you come up with.  Sounds like it could be one.
Was that in there yesterday? Casper--WY windier than ?

I think your right, his color is a lot different than the ones I can find pictures of but I know their colors can vary.  Thanks a lot
