Wow, k, so this is a wierd question, but whenever I get a hermit crab from lfs, they are tiny. Is that one a different type maybe, or just been growing? Also its different coloring is different from my little red ones.

Im no expert but from what i understand there are different types of hermits, the most common sold are Blue leg (very small), red leg (small-med), and white legged (med-huge). This one is a white legged and he is bigger and older (almost 2 years) than all my others.

If you watch the video you can see a blue leg hermit on top of the shell he leaves, for a size reference.

I get all my cleaners from reefcleaners.org, great site and great customer service. The guy i have in the video he calls a  "This Striped Hermit"
