Just tell me when you're ready and I'll hook you up.  The best filtration for them is just a filter spong.  I know a guy that sells really great ones for 6 bucks.  The filter spong is great because no babies get sucked up.  I see the baby shrimp feeding on the filter spong all the time.  Let me know if you would like one of those as well.

Sorry, my post is probably a little confusing.  The cherry red shrimp are fresh water, but can be fed in salt water tanks.   pmpt let me know if you are still interested even though they are fresh water shrimp, and I will get some ready for you.

I saw those white shrimp too.  You'll have to tell be how that works out.  I hear that fresh water shrimp don't have the nutritional value to salt water animals like salt water shrimp do.  Thats why I don't feed the cherry red shrimp to my creatures.  I've read that you can feed marine flakes to freshwater shrimp to increase there nutritional value.

I was reading a little about some members that raise ghost shrimp.  I'm guessing it is for live food.  I bought a type of shrimp that grows to about the same size awhile back called cherry red shrimp.  I bought them from a freind and have only seen them for sale at a pet store in california for six bucks a peice.  From what I have read they only reached the fish hobbie in the U.S. in 2004.  I've had an easy time breading them.  The only food they ever seem to eat is the algea and boiled zuccini squash.  The glass is always full of baby shrimp picking at the algae.  The only thing required is some bushy plants for them to live on.  I use java moss.  They seem to like this the best.  But anyway,  if anyone would like to try some of these shrimp let me know and I will see if my brother inlaw (who is now raising them to feed to his breading frontosas) will let some get big enough to tell the boys from the girls so someone else can get a group growing.
