    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=809">rhymechizel</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 6613<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> May&nbsp;18&nbsp;2005 at 12:17pm<br /><br />I was reading a little about some members that raise ghost shrimp.&nbsp; I'm guessing it is for live food.&nbsp; I bought a type of shrimp that grows to about the same size awhile back called cherry red shrimp.&nbsp; I bought them from a freind and have only seen them for sale at a pet store in california for six bucks a peice.&nbsp; From what I have read they only reached the fish hobbie in the U.S. in 2004.&nbsp; I've had an easy time breading them.&nbsp;&nbsp;The only food they ever seem to eat is the algea and boiled zuccini squash.&nbsp; The glass is always full of baby shrimp picking at the algae.&nbsp; The only thing required is some bushy plants for them to live on.&nbsp; I use java moss.&nbsp; They seem to like this the best.&nbsp; But anyway,&nbsp; if anyone would like to try some of these shrimp let me know and I will see if my brother inlaw (who is now&nbsp;raising them to feed to his breading frontosas) will let some get big enough&nbsp;to tell the boys from the girls so someone else can get a group growing.&nbsp; <span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by rhymechizel</span>]]>
