I'm using a digital thermometer with a probe and also a regular type with the red that goes up and down(cant remember what it's called) they both read similar.
I've also tried moving it all Different places, sump and everything. Hey since it's gotten colder I can't get my 14g biocube to warm up. Woke up this morning and it's at 72 degrees I've tried putting two heaters in and everything. It is opened top so all water is exposed to air. Also have a 10g refugium underneath. I put the heater in my dads 29g cube and it heats right up.. Can't figure it out! I pulled both heaters out and touched to make sure they work and they get really hot before i have to let go.
