Skimmer was modified with the airline mod by the person I purchased it from though it looks easy and there are surely some directions online to do it. Pump works great as does the skimmer.&nbsp;]]>

It is 3" by 3.3" so if your chamber is at least that it will fit. I am using one on my 30 gal and it is working well. Another one to consider is the new one that is coming out from Innovative marine. Should be out this month I think.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=4009">Molli</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 58405<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> August&nbsp;13&nbsp;2012 at 1:28pm<br /><br />I've decide to upgrade my pump on my Biocube and not sure which brand I should buy that has a good track record and will fit in the back chamber of my Biocube.<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I've also decided to buy a skimmer that I need to fit in the first chamber of my biocube.&nbsp; I bought a Tunze brand and it was defective so I sent it back.&nbsp; I've not read good things about the Biocube Skimmer.&nbsp; I've done some reading about an Aquatic Life skimmer -- many said it works well, but most had to modify the air line.&nbsp; I'm really not very mechanically mind to figure out how to modify stuff!&nbsp; Does anyone have a suggestion for a skimmer that doesn't need modifications that will fit in the back of the Biocube?</DIV>]]>
