I hope you didn't think I thought it needed work... I actually think its looking great now, but wanted to also add that as you are experiencing all ready, things change fast and if you go the "natural route" and let nature be nature (in as much as possible in less than a few trillion gallons)... your essentially running a competitive growth assay and something is going to take over... and its usually (in my experience) not the piece you really want to show off...&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>HAVE fun and don't worry about pruning, you will actually be able to sell EVERYTHING your pruning out... even if you get 2 dollars for a piece, its fun because someone will come to your house to buy it, and you get to talk about tanks for a few minutes and when they leave, your tank looks better and you get to go buy some more food or whatever for the tank. &nbsp;Which reminds me... I gotta post some frags!&nbsp;</div>]]>

He had a Klyxum that had grown to the size of a basketball. A powerhead slipped and was blasting the Klyxum. Before he came home that evening, there was a total crash going on.<br><br>That Xenia may disappear one day. That's how Xenia is. Checking and maintaining Alk, Ca, Mg and I (Iodine) will help keep it around as long as possible.<br><br><img src="http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" alt="Big smile" title="Big smile" /><br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=3359">rufessor</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 57325<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> June&nbsp;26&nbsp;2012 at 3:53pm<br /><br />Agree with the thin early comment. &nbsp;My experience with Reef Tanks is you need to be the predator. &nbsp;If your not on top of the tank something will take over and quick. &nbsp;Every 2-3 months I spend a few hours swearing as I prune out some macro algae that I have that some people actually pay for (mermaids finger) but that grows EVERYWHERE... then I have to go through and nuke the random polyps that show up, and then well... be the predator. &nbsp;Its your tank- if you don't MAKE IT LOOK LIKE YOU WANT... well... Have you ever gardened and tried not weeding for a few years... yeah.. same thing.<div><br></div>]]>
