That's it.  As long as the magnet is big enough to hold it up.  Otherwise you will need two.

Eggcrate is nice because it allows flow abet defused flow through the surface.

How about the tried and true frag rack made from a $5 dollar aquarium cleaning magnet with some left over eggcrate.

Eggcrate is what $8.99 for a 4 ft by 2 ft piece?

Pretty simple to make out of acrylic, I have made a few. $25 bucks really isn't bad for a suction cup frag rack.
