How long did you let it try to fire the bulb? sometimes when I put a new bulb in mine (really old magnetic dual bulb ballast) it takes quite a few tries to light it and keep it lit.

What kind of ballast do you have? ok so i ordered a 250w 20k bulb and just got the bulb but it did not turn on? what the diffenernt bulb types?

and sence it seems that this is not the right bulb for my setup if someone has one that would work and would want to trade just send me a pm.
