I don't have the ability to do a herbie overflow, using two glass holes overflow boxes out the back, running two 1" to allow for one getting clogged, with the air intake of the drain being brought back to where if one clogs up, the rising water will create a full suction on the other (I'm probably going to throttle down the return pump a bit too to help keep the flow within capacity of one drain normally)
However, I'm just wondering if I should add a short horizontal piece, then drop straight down the rest of the way instead of angling the pipes?
The center is my return, the two outsides are my drains. It was never loud enough to notice unless you listened specifically for it. I'm just wondering if putting in the horizontal piece will help with the sound in any way, rather than just having the water free-fall at an angle the whole way. I can also try and combine the two 1" into a 1.25" or 1.5" pipe, it will just give me a bit of grief getting the ¾" return around/past/under it.
