For years now I have been a reefing addict. I have always wanted a big tank, and I finally found one. Big big thanks to Terence(thefu) and Nick for helping me move this pig! It is just a little bit heavy.

It measures 4' x 3' x 2', and will hold about 175 gal.
Obviously, the bowfront brace is broken and needs replaced.
Easy part is done,...
Some interesting plumbing going on. Since this is a peninsula build, I may just route the back glass and add another external overflow. I will just use the three holes already drilled for a closed loop. Any ideas here are welcome.

very cool tank. I like the idea of routing the glass and doing an external overflow. would you just use those three existing holes for the inlets on the closed loop, and just drill more around the tank for the outlets?

I think I will be doing an LED fixture high above the tank, close to the ceiling. For the closed loop, I'm thinking about using one of those holes for a return to two pumps. One hole for each of the pump outputs which I will split to opposite corners. Each pump will come on for around 6 hours and have a nozzle in two corners of the tank. So, water circulation will change direction every 6 hours. I also want to put a seaswirl on each side of the overflow slit for the return pump to the sump. Does all that make sense?
