Anyone had experience with this? I'm using it to try and build a rockscape but it doesn't seem to be settting at all. I let one price dry for 10 hrs and it crumbled right off when I checked this morning.

Someone surely has had experience with this, but seeing that there had been no replies, I thought I might as well add what I thought when I first saw this thread last week and was reminded of just the other day.

I was watching workers pour a new sidewalk at the St. George Vernon Worthen Park across the street from my Condo. One of the cement trucks had to stop pouring and the load was rejected because the pour contained softball and larger size chunks of hardened cement.

I don't usually watch cement being poured but what else is an old retired guy gonna do? Wink Actually what had my attention was the cement pumping truck. When the boom unfolded and refolded, it reminded me of a Praying Mantis. The boom reached up about 60 feet over the trees and back down to the sidewalk about 30 yards away.

So what causes cured concrete to crumble the next day? I believe the cement mix can get too hot because of an imbalance in the original ingredients, including the amount of water used.

Perhaps Aquaforest Stone Fix has a similar issue.

Aloha,
Mark  Hug
