I'm pretty sure I have been using too much GFO and have stripped my water of nutrients.  I know GFO pulls a lot more out the water than just phosphates but I want to know what level of phosphates you try to keep in your tank?  Ms. Hanna tells me my tank is at 0.00 ppm which I'm pretty sure is too low. Confused

I keep mine at about 0.02-0.04ppm though it sometimes drifts slightly higher if I don't change my gfo on time. I have had my phosphates hit 0.00ppb (hanna phosphate checker) and some corals started to lose color. If you're worried about it you can feed a little heavier for a few days to bring the phosphates up a little but be careful not to overdo it.
