I bought a 225 a couple of months ago with an awesome closed loop system on it.

Since I bought it I have been trying to buy all of the things I'm going to need to get it going.  So far I have a huge rubbermaid of cleaned utah sand, an ASM G4 skimmer, 3 big relfectors, 4 X 96 watt PCs, 4 X 175W Metal Halides, a huge powerhead, a reeflow dart to run the closed loop, a mag 18 to act as return pump, a bunch of miscelaneous plumbing parts, and I just bought a 60X18 110 gal tank to make into a sump/fuge.  Almost everything I purchased from members of this site.  Thank you for all of you help.

Now I just have to start building the stand and canopy!  I will post pictures of the project as it begins to come together.

As you can tell I am very excited to complete this project as it has been almost 6 months in the making so far.

I have a 225g reef that also is run with a closed loop.  If you would like to stop by and see how mine is setup, you are more than welcome.  Let me know.

I haven't gotten as far as I would like since my last post.  I did purchase a RO filter system and a couple of smaller things to go with the tank.  I am hoping with the nice weather to begin working in earnest on the stand and canopy now that its not freezing in my garage.  I did price out having the front of the stand and canopy made by a cabinet shop to make sure they looked good but it was to expensive.  So I will have to do it myself.

I've kind of did the same thing you are doing and the best help I received to build my stand and hood was from Photoglen from this site.  He made a great hood for the opens on the front and top, of which can be done seperatley or together.  I haven't talked to him about this yet, but if you want to look at what he built he will be on the tour in Tooele.  I'll try and let him know that I sent this message.  Wink   I hope I didn't over step my bounds.  Wacko
