When purchasing my first few corals I made the mistake of
buying a rock with lots of Mojano Anemone's on it- I didn't know
any better. It was sold to me with "look at all the life on this
rock". Well, it is turning into a pest, spreading and stifling /
stinging other corals. Is there a natural predator I can introduce
or should I resort to the kalkwasser paste trick folks use for
Aiptasia ? Since it's growing now in all sorts of crevices it's
going to be a pain (impossibility to get rid of all) so a natural
predator would be preferred.

I've always heard good things about peppermint shrimp getting rid of aptasia. But I've also heard of them not touching them. I would get a few of them, depending on how big your tank is. That way there is a greater chance of one of them eating the Mojano Anemone's, if they eat them. Besides, peppermint shrimp are cheap and kinda cool to watch grow!

I already have a peppermint and never seen him interested in
Mojano's but does take care of the Aiptaisia. Incredibly the day
I got him he attacked the aiptaisia like a drill. Wouldn't give up.
Unfortunately not Mojano's. If a critical mass of peppermints is
required I can certainly try that.

If he's attacking the aptasia, and not the Mojano's I'd say they probably won't eat em. I'd try something different

Until you can introduce a natural predator, I would suggest manual treatments. Personally, I injected boiling water multiple times into the mojano that I found. I have not had a problem since, so I guess that I am lucky.

Do a Search The ForumSearch  for these and you will find many other discussions and potential solutions. Didn't someone say they had success with butterflies?
