Topic: Reef Tour- real time updates Posted: September 06 2008 at 11:11am |
Did someone already start this? If so I missed it.
Pep rally was looking good. I took some pastries and Dion has the grill going for dogs. If it is slow this afternoon you can count on him to fire up lunch for you. If a lot of people show he'll have to turn off the grill and answer questions.
A couple people were getting ready to leave Dion's so I had to leave early to get home.
Couple people to start off the 10am rush. I'm home now.

Buggers. We are redirecting traffic as I type. Our street is shut down till 1pm but the street to the east is open and we are setting up signs.

So is everyone just having a party at Dion's?
As for me, 3500 South has construction on it, but you can enter the subdivision at 6290 West. Or, if coming from the north (i.e., Dion's), you can enter the subdivision at the signal by WalMart, turn left on the street past the school, then right at the stop sign, then left on 6225 West. There, now isn't that just easy!

Main street is blocked off for road work - I hope people will still try to find my house.

Well, the wine is ready, but you need to wait until after noon. Pace yourselves!
I'm still lonely over here!

I am still lonely.....even my wife left.... and I don't have any construction between our house and the freeway.....{finally after six months of having our road closed}...... Last year we had over 65 people come by, but non so far....other than Mike for a preview yesterday..... We are just off the freeway and 9000 south......I hope a few come because I backed out of the Lotoja today due to the tour {I have been training all year} ....

I did this for people at the door Reef Tour 2008 ****Use your EAGLE EYEZ and see if you can spot all of these fish and corals q Thirty one different colored Zoanthids and Palythoas q Three Clown fish {known as Nemo} q Blue Hippo Tang {known as Dori} q Two Sand sifting sea stars {Starfish on sand or under sand} q Two mated Cardinal fish {hard to find Sphaeramia orbicularis} q Two mated Cleaner shrimp or skunk shrimp q Four Frogspawn or Hammer colonies q Three Toadstools or Leathers {only count if they are bigger than 6in} q Two Trigger fish q Fourteen different colonies of SPS {must have more than 4 branches to count} q Four Cromis in a school q One yellow tang q Six different LPS {not including frogspawn or hammer} q Four different colored Mushrooms q One Clown Goby {little yellow guy that doesn’t move very much} q One Sixline Wrasse q Four Plate/Cap Corals q One symbiotic pair of a Watchman Goby and his Pistol Shrimp {hard to find because they hid in the caves under the rockwork} *****Extra Credit: Can you name the coral that is taking over the Trigger Tank. Edit, I recounted the zoas instead of doing it off memory....I forgot a few the first time....

I hope this year is not a bust. Nice weather, and four wheelers sitting idle, I hope I did not just waste a prime weekend.
