Brandon - I'm pretty sure its not a mistake!
Don't let your knowledge level discourage you from taking part in the presidency. Believe me, there are many, many club members that have much more knowlege of the hobby that I do.
Consider it a chance to learn some more about reefs and have a good time with people who share your interest.
Go ahead - accept your nomination!

The presidency is always happy to use anyone who wants to help!!!

Well, this thread has been here for a while. It seems like anyone else who wanted to run would have accepted the nomination. Anyone else who comes along really isn't that active so maybe they wouldn't be that dedicated anyway. Right now, you have 10 volunteers for council. 10 dedicated, active people. Why not just have 10 council members? Why turn down volunteers?

It is pretty awesome, I haven't had to spend a single $ on campaign signs yet. If someone else decides to run for VP the TV and radio commercials could get expensive.
