For Aaron, I am concerned about astetics, but that isn't my top priority at this moment in time.  Once I get up to 4 bulbs I'll worry more about that, but for right now I'm trying to stay within budget, yet keep everything alive Big%20smile

Just out of curiosity since I have a 125 that still needs lighting, how much would those fixtures end up costing? Wink

Per 2 bulb fixture, lights included, you're looking at like $175-$180

Hopefully that includes a high quality reflector for each bulb.

Just a quick note:

No progress has been made since I last posted, my brother couldn't help me pick up the tank this week, so I'm still waiting on him so it will probably be mid week next week before it's at my house (a 125 doesn't fit so well in a Ford Escort Confused)  But I thought I'd throw a props to Shawn at Aquatica in here.  I've been talking with him about some of my ideas with lighting, filtration, water movement and so on.  And yesterday out of the blue he called me (I guess he has caller ID) to tell me he had been doing some research with different suppliers and had found some better pricing on lights!  All I have to say is that is d@mn good customer service is you ask me.  He knows I'm on a budget and he's gone out of his way to help me out... He'll be getting more dollars for that Thumbs%20Up Thumbs%20Up

Sorry about the hold up on the tank. I thought Superman would beat Sukie getting the tank up and running. Time will tell I guess.

That is great about the customer service at Aquatica.Clap Lower price is always better!

Tim I think you have plenty of time to beat SukieWink (although she does have what we call "fresh" water in it)

Well the plan is to get water in it as soon as possible.  I am going to sand and paint the stand, but after that I'm filling it up!  I'm hoping to have a bunch of utah sand and utah rock to start with.  I'll ad some live of each also to get it going.  I figured that while it was cycling I'd finish building the canopy, mount the lights and what not.  I figured this would give me a week or so to figure out the filter and skimmer before I throw the canopy on.  But as stated before, the goal is to have everything moved over the week before Thanksgiving... Oh yeah, I have to paint the back of the tank blue too...

I actually wanted to go black, but the misses (Misses Super that is) loves the blue I used on the 29, and wants to keep it for the new tank... And since all spending has to go through her for approval, I figure I better do all I can to keep a smile on her face Big%20smile

Sukie, how did you get my picture? I told the photographer not to release it to anyone.

Sukie,

Stop Hijacking my thread, gosh... You and Wudan already have your own...  I know you're doing it because you secretly like having your name associated with anything "Super," which is understandable, but you have to remember that this thread is about Me, and not your desire to be as Super as me Big%20smile

Tim,

I think the Mrs. likes blue because it reminds her of your tights.
