I have a couple projects in mind that I would like to use Neodymium Magnets with but I don't want to pay shipping for them. Anyone know a place where I could buy them locally?

Or does anyone want to do a group order for some?

No, I ordered like 200 and made magnetic frag plugs. They worked great...but I just didn't have use for all of them. I should post some pictures.

I forgot about this...sorry.

These are neodymium N42 1/2" x 1/16" nickel-plated magnets (read NOT REEF SAFE). If anyone is interested, I'm selling them for $0.75 each, which is what I paid. These are incredibly strong magnets, and they can pose quite a safety hazard, especially to pets and children (and electronics). Purchase and use at your own risk.

I made my own magnetic frag plugs:

Here it is holding up an SPS colony skeleton:

Right now about 6 of them are holding up the front panel of my aquarium stand.  Thanks, Nikki! You're the best!

Glad they helped! The rest are not for sale at this time...I have a new project for them (sadly, not reef related.)
