Nothing good ever happens instantly.

3) Ask questions. Even if you think it's a "dumb question" - if you don't know the answer, then it's not "dumb"...

Good Luck - and Welcome to WMAS

I am new to the group and just getting into the saltwater side of the hobby. i’ve been doing a good amount of research and i recently picked up a 29 gallon tank.https://static.cloudflareinsights.com/beacon.min.js/v833ccba57c9e4d2798f2e76cebdd09a11778172276447" integrity="sha512-57MDmcccJXYtNnH+ZiBwzC4jb2rvgVCEokYN+L/nLlmO8rfYT/gIpW2A569iJ/3b+0UEasghjuZH/ma3wIs/EQ==" data-cf-beacon="{"version":"2024.11.0","token":"485a0fc5c9534dd0bb86dc27b7bb817d","r":1,"server_timing":{"name":{"cfCacheStatus":true,"cfEdge":true,"cfExtPri":true,"cfL4":true,"cfOrigin":true,"cfSpeedBrain":true},"location_startswith":null}}" crossorigin="anonymous">

My plan right now is to build a clean setup with live rock, sand, some beginner-friendly coral as well as 2 clown fish and possibly a cardinal if it works out. I am trying to do this the correct way and learn as much as I can before rushing it.

Since I am starting out, I am definitely on a bit of a budget, so if anyone has extra equipment, rocks, coral frags, or even just advice you are willing to share I would seriously appreciate it. I am happy to learn, trade later on, or even pay a bit depending on what it is.

Looking forward to being part of the community and seeing everyone’s tanks!
